((OOC: Karin is in some empty hallway, lying in a pool of her own blood. There is blood splattered all over, and it looks like the scene of some gruesome horror flick. Anyone who investigates her body will notice that she's still alive, just unconscious. Further inspection may reveal that she does not have any wounds, and that all of the blood came from her nose.
Feel free to help her out or leave her lying around. If your character isn't exactly good-of-heart, they might find her wallet on her, although it's covered in blood along with any money in there. She's probably got about 5000 HL at the most with her, but not much else, sorry =P))

*Karin is walking/stumbling around, looking a little dazed and confused. Those who know her (and maybe even those who don't) might notice that those horns on her forehead are new. That's right: she's got not just an Un in her ear, but an A as well! As a result, she cannot hear you if you try speaking to her and she is also kind of switching between clutching her head at times and touching her ears as she tries to figure out what's going on. But hey, on the bright side, she doesn't have nearly the amount of power that Pram does and therefore will not be going on a magical rampage. That's good, right? Right? Right.*

Ahh! Why is that burning?! I didn't think I put it in the oven for that long!

((OOC: Karin is now looking for a victim to bite and inject with blood. For more information on the bites, check this handy dandy OOC post. I'm going to assume that if you post a reply to this journal without some kind of OOC note saying otherwise, your character is fair game for being bitten. Though... for the most part, Karin will be trying to avoid biting anybody she knows, unless the urge gets to be too much or something.

Feel free to have your character notice her staggering around a little dazed and otherwise exhibiting symptoms of fever. They also might notice that she's trying (and for the most part, failing) to stalk certain people. Also, make sure to mention if your character is at all unhappy so I can have her react to that 8D;

I can't believe it's already Valentine's Day again... It was only a couple of months ago for me.

I ended up making some chocolate. I usually to just give it out to my friends, but I think I made too much this time. _{So embarrassing.} Does anybody want some?

((OOC: Karin somehow procured the ingredients for chocolate, and is now handing it out. It is made from scratch and, unlike Nia's creations, it's actually pretty good.))

I can't believe I've been here for over two weeks already... I keep thinking that maybe I'll just wake up and find out I was just dreaming, but I don't think that's going to happen.

I'm glad I was able to find that job, though. I came here with a little money, but not enough to live on. Oh! If anybody wants me to cook something in particular, just tell me. I don't know how to cook everything, but I'll try my best.

I've been able to avoid people who are unhappy until now, but I'm sure I'll run into somebody sometime. Plus, my blood rises once a month... Ahhh, why do I have to have a weird body like this?!

Neither Anju or Usui are here, so I have to take care of myself. I need to be careful not to bite anybody I know, because they'll definitely remember afterwards. But... who could I bite? It looks like most of the demons are really strong, and I don't even know if biting them would work.

((OOC: Karin got dropped off somewhere in the castle, so now she's just sort of wandering around confused))

Karin is kind of a weird vampire. Unlike most, she creates too much blood and therefore needs to inject it into people to get rid of the surplus, or else suffer a massive and painful nosebleed.

Thing is, the blood multiplication is triggered by being around unhappy people. This is because her taste in blood is the blood of unhappy people. While for a normal vampire, this would just cause them to be thirsty around people of their taste, Karin is the opposite of most vampires, so her blood multiplies until... well, she gets a nosebleed or she bites and injects somebody with her blood.

Karin's blood is also a little different from humans'. It has no type and is perfectly safe to inject into people, and the aftereffects leave people energetic. It also makes them... well, not necessarily happy, but it helps to alleviate the unhappiness for a week or so until the blood wears off.

Concerning the bites themselves... When a person is bitten, unless they aren't caught completely by surprise (which is something Karin tries to go for), they'll usually fall unconscious as she's biting them. Usually. Afterwards they'll likely remember her, but a little fuzzily, since she's unable to erase memories. A bite-mark is left behind, but unless your character is expecting to see it or extremely, extremely perceptive, they'll probably not notice it since nobody really does in canon unless, like I said, they're expecting to see it. The bite mark also fades with time, and when it vanishes the effects of her blood vanishes as well.

EDIT (Feb 6, 2009): Er... bad mun is bad and forgot something important.

Sooo, when a person is injected with her blood, they also see something precious to them in their dreams. It's implied that it's a person they hold dear that appears in their dreams, and that's one of the major factors that makes them so energetic when awake, but it's... not really been expanded on much. The dreams go away when the blood and bite wear off.

Aaaaand that's all I can think of to write at the moment. If you have any questions or want to discuss people getting bit/people who make her blood level rise/other fun stuff like that, please tell me through this post ♥
